Just saw another report on the bushfires sweeping parts of Australia. Thoughts are with all those who have lost loved ones and I hope that all our Australian players are safe. Thanks very much for that Martin. Your thoughts are appreciated. Cheers,

The 16 figures for the 4x4Bd have been cleaned up and undercoated. But I think that is as far as I'll get as we head off on Saturday 21st for Xmas and don't return until the 27th. Not going to try and secrete painting equipment into my luggage 🙄. Cheers, Today I've finished 2 elements of 4Bd. The other 8 figures have been undercoated black and I've drybrushed the white armour. I hope to finish the the last of the 4Bd this week. Cheers, The final two elements of 4x4Bd for my WOTR army were completed yesterday. That means only the figures for Art element need to be cleaned up, undercoated and painted. Once that is done l can flock all 12 elements. Cheers,

Mitanni update - 4x4Bw and 2x7Hd now done and moving onto the first of the LCh... painting in groups of 3, so I feel progress being made but not too overwhelming a metal pile in front of me! P That's the way to go Paul, achievable goals. Cheers,

The second tranche of 8 Lb figures was completed today. Tomorrow I'll glue them to their bases. That leaves 1xArt and 4x4Bd to do. I don't expect to get them done before Xmas, but never say never. Finally got off my butt and finished painting 6 elements of Parthian horse archers. I will not terrain the bases until the next 6 are mounted so they look alike. The 4 elements of cataphracts are already done, so after the next pack of horse archers will come the archers. Then the army will finally be done. Yep, I always flock my bases once an army is completed. As you say, consistency in the finish is guaranteed. Cheers,

Try Oz. 52UKP to the AUD and 68.9USC to the AUD! Cheers, I was thinking of you guys right after I posted... you have it worse off than us Canucks! And it does make international travel a very expensive proposition. Cheers,

Ouch! That exchange rate isn't funny and you guys have to pay a fortune in postage I bet ? Yep, postage does add a significant amount to the overall cost. In some instances 100%! Cheers,

I've just finished Sword of Kings and as usual Cornwell didn't disappoint. I'm just about to begin R.W. Peake's fifth installment of his what if Caesar saga.

Finished "Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee" and then polished off "Sharpe's Fortress". I grow weary of Obadiah Hakeswill. Bring on the battles, sieges and class conflict in the British Army but oh, that sergeant... Hang in there is all l will say. Cheers k

After finishing a historical publication, The Plantagenants, I've returned to fiction. I'm about 1/4 way through Cornwell's latest in his Anglo-Saxon series, Sword of Kings. This work is up to Cornwell's usual standard, a rollicking adventure indeed.
