...there are rules for siege. But the time for a battle differs from that time for a siege. Under DBM there were permanent fortifications that could be destroyed. Using Chris Peers rules you could burn down wooden forts by setting fire. But you need specialists to do it. And that is an other game - skirmish maybe...

...well I started with 15mm when DBM & DBA were still fresh. Then DBR appeared; for me the hope of finally conquering Siberia. Unfortunately, PB turned off the lights. But the rules are still being played. Now that I've switched to Triumph I have to hope that the internet never goes on strike because of Meshwesh's army lists...

...years ago I got a 120x80cm surface, originally for ADG, but you can fight battles on it according to all the rules. Nevertheless, this surface is too small for DBMM240 pairs. 120x90cm is required...

...until now i did often use BBDBA with 3 commands. But you need an opponent for larger battles... ...now with Triumph it is OK. The armies are a bit larger. But in Switzerland you have problems with larger armies anyvay. And the proportions for a larger Triumph-game is a bit odd. You need 2 x the width. That meens: 90 MU wide x 36 MU deep; that meens; 64cm deep for 15mm miniatures.,..
