We used to play Big DBA for fun or demo. 2 armies vs 2 armies, 3 vs 3 and4 vs 4. the Numbers of players may vary. We removed the demoralization effect to prevent a player to stop playing too quickly, so we placed a lost limit according the Numbers of played bases. It could be 11,...16. result is everybody pis playing until the end and it stands not more 3 hours with 48 bases.,less if less bases. Not fully historical but good for the playability.

ok thanks i did not put any diagram as it seems clear enough. They are overlapping each other but not in the same sense and I do count an overlap.

Guys,
Do you count an overlap if both fiogurines are facing the opposite ways and are in mutual flank contact ?
A facing B , B is overlaped by C which is facing the wrong way .
thx.

I agree that only denizens belongs to one side. If nobody in, it belongs to first incomers (which is the case of Forts and Cities as defender). For us an edifice and and an Hamlet do not prevent the invader to settle in only city and fort do.
Ok for the fact that invader could not use edifice as a camp as I still do not see why as long as you take the edifice in your side your could not use as is. If i was an ennemy Campaign invader I will be happy to use a solid edifice rather than a tent :-)
The rules of camp size equal edidice is stupid and with no reality but this is the rule. Thx for your inputs, we will follow the FAQ.

So if the defender put an edifice (BUA size greater than a camp), as an attacker i cannot put this edidice in my zone and put my camp in.

But if the edifice has been settled by the defenser with a size greater than a camp it means that the invader could not put his camp in , which is not logical at all ? I do not see why you could not put your camp on the edifice zone keeping his size of course.

I understood that a camp could be placed on a edifice so the zone become good going instead bad going.
The question is : does the camp (smaller size could be on the edifice zone (larger size) or does the camp fits exactly the edifice zone to be placed on ?
Thanks in advance.

OH OH they do count as Hd and SCh ? it means that every player should get out to fight outside and gaining one turn rather than fighting in camp and put their camp at risk ? Not very realistic… Tks for the reply and the precision for being fast rather than solid. For city denizens it could be understandable...

Distant shooting p 10.3
...targets exposed by outcome moves can be shot at...
Does it means that only shooters who did not fight and did not shoot before could shoot on a target which was invisible before ?
or is it allowed for shooters who recoiled Following a melee that turn ?
As the invariable synoptic is move, shoot, melee which is broken before, this is matter of clarification ?
Tks guys !

Question for tournement:
It seems that camp followers could go out the camp and fight with 2 factor against foot element and 0 factor against cavalry element when outside the camp ?
Is that correct ?
If So it means we have 12 elements + 1 camp followers + 1 camp so 13 elements + 1 camp and the
break is a 4 ?
Your opinion pls , tks !
