Good idea, Jim! I'm also considering plastic axe heads or aluminum foil as a base for epoxy. I could also buy dark ages axes from Donnington, but at 4 for £0.70 plus shipping from the UK...$10million! That is a lot of beer tokens! Citadel does a Liquid Green Stuff. If there is enough metal as a skeleton or if you add a little paper to bulk out the axe then this could give you the accuracy of application for 15mm. Cheers Jim

When is your prime time interview with Oprah, Honorable Lord Protector? Or, will Piers be conducting your interview? Once again we have fallen victim to a Spammer. His Thread has been removed and he has been banned. However not before I spent a large number of beer tokens. Please now address me as Sir, The honorable Cromwell, Bachelor of Arts, science, theology and silliness. Holder of a bus driving licence, Diploma in Deep Sea Diving, certificate of basic dentistry, vocational qualification in Brain Surgery and Rocket Science and a Masters certificate from the Japanese Samurai Sword Makers Guild. Oh and title of Lord Protector was thrown in at a discount! Thank You.

I finally have a knead to use green epoxy putty for modeling (bad pun intentional): I have some 15mm Irish bonnacht warriors with dodgy axe heads (missing or deformed).
Any suggestions, hints, clues or recommendations for working with green epoxy putty on such small volumes is appreciated. Web site or video references would be great, too.
No passports, licenses, or counterfiet money needed, thanks!

Good Irish Whiskey requires no ice! Only Scottish Whisky requires watering 😉
I have a question about ice in whiskey, but fear I will be abused if I ask it... P.
Nope. I placed a small order several weeks ago fr Naismith figures on the off-chance I might receive them. All I've heard thus far is crickets. But, I'm willing to be patient. Any update, Paul? I hope John is still trading - I want to order a French Ordonnance army and add to my Hungarians. I can wait patiently, if I could get hold of John and place and order!

Like my 15mm Minifigs Hussites, including wagons. Added a few 15mm Irregular Hussites and Wagons, and then some 15mm Alternative Armies figures.

Was there a preference for sword vs axe amongst the various Vikings? Did it vary with time or area of origin?

I hope John isn't down for the count, as the website remains missing! I wanted to add a Roundway French Ordonnanxe army to my ranks this year.

Should TZs have a priority, like targets for shooting? Closest to, most deadly to, fastest move to my element?
We could make them even more confusing!
I'll pass 🤪

Illegal move, as the single Ps does not make front and corner to corner contact?

I agree, the Rustoleum is good, even too good if you're not careful! Apply thin coat and make sure the model is well dry first. I've had it collect in joints and turn white, but it seems to vary from can to can. I switched to W-N Professional Matte spray for consistency and ease of use. The W-N Matte spray (not the Pro) is cheaper per can, but more of a satin. Both cans are silver, but only 1 says Professional. Go Pro! Jeff If I may offer my own recent experience... Typically I airbrush Vallejo matte clear on my models, however, this year I started employing Rust-Oleum Painters Touch 2x Ultra Cover Matte Clear. It works exceptionally well. Is very affordable and because it is a Rust-Oleum product it is also very easy to find throughout much of the US.
