You must be clairvoyant, as I bought a chariot model with Boudica from MM just last night As for Boudica - Magisgter Militum do a Boudica Figure that is not too bad. Cheers

It was difficult enough to get orders filled before COVID, so perhaps Mr. Roberts hung up his spurs?
I hope he is well and returns to filling orders or else sell the lines off.

I believe going to a 1BW grid movement and measuring system would simplify DBA, until folks start discussing group wheels and other maneuvers that may not be historically accurate for much of the period DBA covers.
I guess I've let Cordery's "Practical Wargames" influence me. However, I still prefer the DBA combat resolution as there is no record keeping or markers to clutter the battlefield.
Good ideas to explore further, Emporer stevie! But with more serious intent. 😜

Reading Wells' "Little Wars" again, hence my "fixation" on the Britains 4.7 inch naval gun firing matchsticks elsewhere on Fanaticus!

Is there any historic evidence supporting the colors and patterns often portrayed by wargamers on Ancient British or Gallic Shields?
Besides Asterix comics, of course!

Does it involve Britain's 4.7 inch naval guns and matchsticks?!

A backhanded compliment from stevie? Should I be insulted or feel special? (A good idea is still a good idea, no matter the source. )

Did Central Asian nomad light horse win campaigns strategically? Harass enemy on march, prevent foraging, cut off resupply, out scout, and choose location and time of battle? Outnumber enemy, threaten homes and crops, etc.? Did Ottoman Akinji win tactical battles, or provide a strategic advantage? If in DBA Light Horse armies can’t win battles, then how did they ever form these vast empires? ...but no one did)

Let's give all elements the same CF and movement, then use Britain's 4.7 inch naval guns and matchsticks/toothpicks to shoot 'em down!! Ah, but where do you stop...?

What if the next 2 packs also have bad axe heads? Not using liquid green stuff, rather the 2 part putty or "Kneadatite". Plastic axe head glued on with CA sounds easier with every moment! I finally have a knead to use green epoxy putty for modeling (bad pun intentional): I have some 15mm Irish bonnacht warriors with dodgy axe heads (missing or deformed). Any suggestions, hints, clues or recommendations for working with green epoxy putty on such small volumes is appreciated. Web site or video references would be great, too. No passports, licenses, or counterfiet money needed, thanks! Buy more figures and pass on the hours of frustration and possible ruined carpet that will come with liquid green
