The decorative base is very nice, but mine is a flying model vs. the Fell beast in a sitting position. It is the pterodactyl model associated with the lizardmen in full extended flight.
I could still use that idea - maybe a rock wall on the 40mm x 40mm base instead of a bead or fishing weight, with the model just happening to be flying over it. Or use vegetation to hide the bead or the v-shaped bottom?
Thank you for all the ideas!

Thanks to Alternative Armies, today I have a new 15mm Wraith on a flying pterodactyl. I need to base the mini, but I use flat steel bases for my 15mm HotT armies.
How do I afix a brass rod to a flat 40mm x 40mm steel base securely? Build up a pedestal with green stuff around the rod? Glue a small bead to the base to help hold the rod upright?
Might have a brass cone I can take from a fishing fly...?
Suggestions and examples welcomed - thanks!

...apologize it is a us-company but i don't know the name and it is disappeared from the web but the minies are from pre 2000 but there was also a far east pirate-range there... Frontier Miniatures? Did 15mm and 25mm figures.

I was checking out a free copy of "The Armour of Rommel's Afrika Korps" on Kindle and in the introduction is stated that the DAK used Pz35(t) and Pz 38(t). I never read a single page after that since all is suspect if something so basic is in error. Does make one wonder, although I bet you got the book really cheap! Not every book is worth the price.

How would it compare with King Maker as a campaign boardgame, Mr. Roundhead?

Perhaps the "home field" helped determine tactics? Open areas 4Wb, closed terrain 3Wb?

Thank you, sir! Additional Army list – late 17th century.Thinking of possible enemies for the Polish Commonwealth, I discovered the DBA-HX3 army lists lacked the Cossack, Ottoman and Tatars. Both DBR and Tony Aguilar’s monumental work were referenced to compile the additional lists. Most changes will reflect the increased use of the musket and/or the decline in the use of certain troop types. The Cossack are now posted to the blog, Ottoman and Tatars will follow next week. 18thcenturysojourn.blogspot.com/2022/03/additional-army-lists-late-17th-century.html
