Bet you could knock 'em out with Nike's Air Jordans! Get it...Nike (Missile)...Air...? Cheesy enough for a Roundhead? It would be remiss of me to say "of course, if you can throw a pair that high" Come on Cromwell has not hit us with the cheese for a while.

Yes, a time tested method from our siblings in the scale model railroad hobby.
Spraying the flocked stand with varnish can provide similar results, just not as effective.
Thanks for sharing, Jim!

You do not consider conforming as moving into contact then, Chris? Hence, the Art can conform to the El once the El contacts the Art?

Can Art form part of a Group?
Is so, isn't conforming different for Groups, Chris?

Sue Laflin Barker never published campaign rules after removing them from DBA in version x.x?
I suppose we may never see an "official" set from WRG?

Were all Anglo-Saxons converted by the middle period? No pagans wandering about the marches of Danelaw? Certainly some pagan A-S around here... Don’t forget the priests! Bugger! He's forgotten the priests ......

Yes, he paints like a man possessed! No exorcisms please, as I enjoy his madness That is an impressive and well painted amount of figures in such short time.

We all have our afflictions and crosses to bear (or should we bare them?) Enjoy your Brits! I actually got to see a google earth picture of the Essex Miniatures HQ. Rather unassuming to say the least. Still, I've sent them a lot of my money over the years ( including an impulse purchase yesterday of another DBA 3.0 army of Ancient British just to bolster my Celtic armies.)

Impossible going? Does the washing machine not get in the way? As a hill it is a little large, makes a fab Great Gargant though.

I can't disagree with you about the Cv elements, especially as they are Anglo-Irish descended from Anglo-Norman colonists. It is noted how some "went native", especially outside the Pale. But the Irish General in the Medieval Irish list is LH, not Cv. I suspect the General might be better mounted and armoured than the other Irish LH, although armed the same with long javelin or spear, and skirmishing. The available 15mm figures listed as Irish are either Dark Ages Scots Irish or Norse Irish, or else Tudor period. I'll keep looking, customize a figure, or just get a substitute from the Tudor wars. After all, the Medieval Irish only played on their home pitch in this era. The army of the Bruces was probably the most notable of the pre-Tudor period. How about an Irish LH General figure for the 14th Century? There are plenty of Irish LH figures without armor, helmet, or shield, but not a lot of mounted Generals. I don’t have my references to hand, but I have a suspicion that the Cv elements in Anglo Irish armies are knight or Sergeant types who have chosen to use light spears instead of lances (?), rather than ‘native Irish’ types.

Suggested 15mm Figures for 14th Century Anglo-Irish 3Cv? Not Irish 2LH.
Thanks!
