Richard Bodley Scott and 12 years of gaming? Using your comment as a segue to a more general one regarding corner overlaps. Can anyone shed any light behind the design philosophy that treats corner overlaps differently in HoTT and DBA 3.0?

Enjoy them all! My kids call these "Dad jokes". Oh my! And they thought my jokes were bad!

Or demoed solo DBA! Go for it, Tony! One of the worst things about lockdown is that Tony’s videos have dried up. I very much appreciate the painting videos but they are not quite like a game between Tony and Mitch or Luke. Being the creative force he is, I’m surprised that Tony has not created a virtual Mitch to play against 🤣 P

In the US, go to Home Depot, Lowes, or another DIY and look for the free carpet samples for outdoor carpet, and check the door mats as well. Might find the door mats at Wal Mart, Target, or one of the discount stores. Much appreciated Baldie, jolly decent of you! But I'm pretty sure I can find something around here. Just need to figure out what it is. There's a dollar store just down the road!

Luckily, dirt, dust, grime, and blood haven't changed color much in 1000 years!

I also bought 2 acrylic nail polish stands online for my dropper bottle miniature paints. Money well spent and no assembly required.

Functional, but astheatically pleasing and unique as the original example?
To each one's own!

I've had 3 Paypal transactions for "Persians" ordered from UK to US delayed for 48 hours since the New Year! It's not like I ordered coronavirus or Brexit!!! Still on sale although there's not quite so many left now. Get them while you can. You may be interested to know that anyone buying either a model of an Arab or Persian tent may have their payment held back by PayPal for review. So far three customers have fallen foul of this. It's a"brute force" filter used by PayPal. There's nothing I can do about it and PayPal won't do anything about it. Presumably it's to do with the international sanctions against Iran but I don't know for sure. Strange world or what?

The figures are great, but I could never do them justice with all the detail! Maybe they would look good with just block painting and magic wash? That is the limit of my average toy soldier painting skill.

I managed to find an old set of army lists for the WRG 1680 rules. Obviously the categorization is not the same as DBN so I will have to work on it. Don't know of any dedicated DBN forum/fora - maybe start one! Plan to be at Vapnartak on Sunday so will look around for suitable figures. I've also searched for a place with more DBN talk with little success. I even reached out to Alex at KISR, but there is little demand for an "official" DBN list. Few choices for figures. Irregular and Khurasan for 15/18mm and only one for 28mm. I have David Brown's book and lists from Micrmark. I believe the DBN Ottomans are a good go-by for Qajar Persians with a few changes.
