Hi folks.
After setting up this site when the original Fanaticus folded, I originally asked for any volunteers for Moderators, and Cromwell stepped forward and has admirably performed duties as required (not that we need a lot of it on here, you are all very well behaved).
My time is now less and less concerned with all things DBA and as such I am handing over the Admin reigns to Cromwell. Thank you for all loving this game and contributing respectfully with one another.
Enjoy your new admin!
Cheers!

Greedo: I hereby appoint you Marshal of the Wiki for DBA. Its great when players take the initiative on stuff like this. I'll try and go out to see how its coming together. Are you US based? TomT Glad you approve! I'll see what I can do. Can you make me an admin to the wiki? If I start making changes, I'll need to ensure we have history, so that if/when I screw up, I'll be able to undo it I'll also make sure the unlinked pages have categories associated with them, but I still think regular pages with links is the way to go. Never been a Marshal before. Pretty pumped. Might have a forum entry that people can send in suggestions if they need wiki modification (as opposed to just posting pages). Yup I'm in the US, North Bay Area, CA. Chris I have upped your access to the wiki. Let me know if there is anything else that you need. Glad someone is taking it on!

Tony when you look at the Knights/Blades combat the odds are quite interesting...
Assuming it is just one 4Bd v one Kn and no generals or terrain impacts the combat, and no flanks or overlaps etc. then... Kn destroy 4Bd 42% of the time Kn recoil 36% of the time 4Bd destroy Kn 22% of the time.
So the match up says 60/40 in favour of a outcome in favour of Bd, but if that 40% comes up...then say good night to those Bd.

Hey Tony.
Loving your videos. I would love to see some more on making terrain features.
Keep up the good work!

Never been to Cancon. Never played in a tourney like this and am way out of practice with DBA. My daughter is playing some sport in Canberra over the weekend, so I am making the trip out to check out the gameplay and to see if I am up for it next year. Looking fwd to it.

The only concern I have had has been that the movement rates seem very high. It makes everything seem very rushed sometimes. But that's just me being a bit picky.

OK so tell me...if a unit has two elements in it's TZ, but those two elements are one in front of the other but not touching, are both impacted by the TZ or just the front one?

Hey all,
Just been pondering the late of LH in the realm of DBA 3. I am wondering if the new movement rates brings them back to the field too much (not that they were ever heavy hitters anyway). Obviously one of their key advantages is in maneuverability. LH used to be out there on their own, and now they are rated the same as Cav and Scythed Chariots.
Do you run a LH heavy army?
Have you noticed the change in the way you play now?

Hey all,
Just wondering if people are keeping their 4Bd and Spear units set on 15mm bases or are you converting to 20mm. What are the advantages/disadvantages for each in your opinion?
IMO, I can see having the spears and blades with the same base depth as the wb, ax, ps, etc might be helpful for keeping straight lines when push back occurs. On the other hand to allow units to be useful for other games - like older 2.2 tourneys and other games like Triumph!. Anyway, happy to hear your thoughts.
