Thanks - that is very helpful.
Is there a rating for 3Bd - I couldn't see it in the list above.
Cheers Simon

"Is there a rating for 3Bd - I couldn't see it in the list above." Oh Simon, I think you have pointed out the flaw in the whole system!! Either that or David has missed an entry. )

Thanks - that is very helpful. Is there a rating for 3Bd - I couldn't see it in the list above. Cheers Simon D'oh - looks like I missed an inconsequential element seldom used and not very effective - I also left out 8Cb/8Lb - so here is the full list.
Thanks Simon
The Rating Points used for the Magister Militum prizes at my tournaments and subsequently for the Magister Militum per Capitoline Territorialis are as follows
6Kn - 57 pts CWg/Lit/CP - 51 pts El - 50 pts 3Kn/4Kn/HCh - 46 pts 4Bd - 43 pts 6Bd - 41 pts 3Bd - 40 pts 6Cv - 39 pts 8Sp - 39 pts Sp - 38 pts 4Wb - 37 pts WWg - 37 pts 3Cv - 36 pts Cm - 34 pts 4Ax - 34 pts 3Wb - 34 pts 4Pk - 31 pts 3Ax - 31 pts 8Cb/8Lb - 31 pts 3Pk - 30 pts 8Bw - 29 pts LH - 28 pts 7Hd - 28 pts 5Hd - 27 pts 4Cb/4Lb - 26 pts Ps - 26 pts 4Bw - 24 pts 3Lb/3Cb - 24 pts 3Bw - 23 pts Art - 16pts SCh - 6 pts
Add 7 pts to the army for a General that is not a CP/Lit/CWg Add 2 pts for each Mtd foot element that is 4Ax or 4Wb Add 3 pts for each other solid Mtd foot element.
Subtract 4 x Aggression Rating.
Cheers

Landwaster is only three weeks away
This is the second event in the Magister Militum per Capitoline Territorialis circuit for 2017-18
With Cancon next January anyone can qualify still by playing in Landwaster and the two days of Cancon

And so with Landwaster now behind us we have 7 players with two tournaments under their belts
Mick Sellman - 26th Percentile Gary Moriarty - 28th Percentile Brenton Searle - 44th Percentile Phil Baldoni - 52nd Percentile Jon Willacy - 53rd Percentile Leigh Dunn - 57th Percentile David Lawrence - 100th Percentile
These players need to play in only one day of Cancon to qualify or if they play both days their best three results will count
The remainder who can qualify after playing in both days of Cancon are
David Osborne 17th Percentile Greg Kelleher - 19th Percentile Mark Baker - 25th Percentile Guy Sheppard - 31st Percentile Andrew Ford 33rd Percentile Peter Spitzkowski 42nd Percentile Bruce Tobin - 50th Percentile Victor Jarmuz - 63rd Percentile Rob Michels - 69th Percentile Craig Whiting - 75th Percentie Tony Cotton - 88th Percentile Jim Davey 83rd Percentile David Quilty 92nd Percentile Stephen Hopkins - 94th Percentile Dean Bedlington - 100th Percentile
The game is afoot - see you at Cancon

Perhaps you can make this simple for the dull ones of us by just rating each army in the book. Thanks

Perhaps you can make this simple for the dull ones of us by just rating each army in the book. Thanks An admirable project for my retirement Bob - but I would have to rate every combination of elements (including allies) for each of the 600+ choices And I still have about 50 existing armies to bring up to purple code. Cheers

So the 2017-18 Circuit is done and dusted - over the course of the year we had 39 players enter into the DBA Tournaments here in the ACT and from that 8 qualified for the Magister Militum per Capitoline Territorialis.
The Grand Maurice went to <drum roll>
Phil Baldoni who finished in the 18th Percentile with adjusted scores across the four possible events.
Phil competed in all four - Collision Course The Adventure Continues, Landwaster, Cancon (Ancient & Classical) and Cancon (Dark Age and Medieval).
The remaining qualifiers were Gary Moriarty – 19th Percentile Mark Baker – 19th Percentile Brenton Searle – 25th Percentile Greg Kelleher – 37th Percentile David Lawrence – 60th Percentile Leigh Dunn – 63rd Percentile Stephen Hopkins – 65th Percentile
We are gearing up for the 2018-19 Circuit which will kick off in May with "DBA With A Twist" - Common Ground

Your list of troop type effectiveness has been very helpful in creating point systems for D3H2 and Knights and Knaves. Thanks for all the hard work. No need to rate armies as you can compile the troop types values for a particular force mix.
