Mounted Infantry rules are spread around the rules This is the case for just about everything and one of the reasons I have soured on these rules as of late. It is ridiculous to have played as many games as I have and still have trouble finding stuff. I love these rules (and Phil) but it is an absolute disservice to torture those of us that are trying to promote them. What they really need is a good index.

The ships are some cheap plastic things that I'm trying to paint to an 'acceptable' standard, although they are way below any historical accuracy. I don't know what manufacturer the Islamics are: second-hand jobs!
If I ever get to a point where they're finished I'll post pics.

I am determined not to buy anything until 2023. Instead, I'm going to try and reduce the lead mountain.

"... a general sort out was my way of getting some direction. This only distracted me into sorting my odds and ends piles into armies I could build with only minimal acquisition or that I could already field by borrowing from my other armies ... Does anyone else suffer from this syndrome?😂" Oh, yes. I've dug out the parts for c. 10 armies that 'only need a few figures'. Hence my purchase of chariots to expand the 'biblical' armies I can field.

Now on to 'biblical' chariots. Got to admit, I'm not fond of painting chariots!

Thegns, Galwegians and mounted Scots are done. Tomorrow I will need to buy some extra scenic material, but the army will be based. This weekend will be devoted to painting banners for the Scots, new ones for the Middle Anglo-Saxon and Viking collections. It will be party time in Northumbria soon. Down to the home stretch, twenty-eight bases covered with sand/glue mix. Tomorrow, grass and tufts. Any suggestions for a Pre-Feudal Scots banner? Not offhand. The Cross of Saint Andrew was only adopted in the 14th century, and there's little information that I can find for earlier. Would a safe bet be a boar or deer, possibly a Celtic version?

Does anyone have information concerning Warrior Miniatures? Their site has a page stating: "Unfortunately due to personal circumstances we are unable to take any orders or respond to queries at this time".

Finished the two horde elements for the 'early' Scots Common army. But most of the last three weeks has been putting gloop on bases.

Wow 50 armies in two years that’s impressive. Makes my goal of one a month for this year seem feeble. I always base as the final part once the figs are finished. Personally I flock with different colours to save time painting. It's not that impressive when you realize I had stuff-all else to do for several months (family in the house = no writing). Painting that much drove me nuts, but having nothing to do would have been worse!
As for bases, mainly sand then greenwash, then some flock. I'm paying the price now .....
