How about not counting losses where it's a 6-1 die roll? Would discount the 'just complete luck' element.

I read many bold plans to expand DBA collections, however, reducing mine will be the order for 2023. Of the 150 armies, at least half have not seen use, therefore, starting next month I will be offering a few each month at a ‘very soft price’, until the collection reaches a manageable size. The reduction will help focus the attention needed to develop scenarios for own use, such as the recent Anglo-Saxon saga. Others awaiting testing, centre around the Byzantine of the 10th/11th century, Spain during the Reconquista and Late Medieval Europe. Some may require new armies. "Soft price". Hmmm, count me interested!!

I think it's safe to say that this year will be a continuation of painting/repainting and basing/rebasing of the lead pile. This includes 25mm Khwarizmians, Anglo-Danish, and Alexandrian Macedonians, plus numerous bits and pieces for 15mm.
At some point I WILL finish everything!!

Trying to paint some 25mm Sarmatians, but the painting urge is low.

I haven't had a reply from MY Miniatures yet. Sometimes firms that supply wargamers are not the main source of income for the proprietors. It is possible that he is busy with other business, on holiday or even ill. I don't want to bother him yet. I have a feeling any order I make would not get painted until spring. (I paint and base figures in an unheated outbuilding with no glass in the windows.) I will leave it another week, then start asking in The Miniatures Page if anyone knows whether or not he is alright. If I hear nothing then, I will email him again in case my original enquiry got stuck in a spam filter. It's unusual for Mick not to reply.

Yep, I think stevie listed the other LH armies. However, there are still two other unit types that can make up a whole army by themselves. (One was featured in one of Tony Aguilar 's videos!) Ah, yes, the great II/13 Samnite army - 12x4Ax… what a dog 🐶 P Love my Samnites!!

25mm camels from Historical Resins (bought last year). Hard to paint, thanks to the detail.

I’m the same Sonic. It doesn’t help that the recoiling passing through rules are on page 9. These would be much better on page 12, after (not before) combat. I don’t know if it helps, but I made a set of “Detailed Crib Sheets” here:- static.wikia.nocookie.net/fanaticus-dba/images/c/cf/DETAILED_CRIB_SHEETS_for_DBA_3.0.pdf/revision/latest?cb=20170104004718 These try where possible to present the rules in the order where they are needed. So instead of having Elephants recoiling from a gate mentioned on page 12, the fact that CP/Lit/CWg fight as Blades is mentioned under the Combat Factors instead of being hidden on page 4, Garrison Artillery (with a CF of 2) is in the Combat Factors instead of being hidden on page 7 under the BUA-City rules, and Mounted-Infantry are treated as Bowmen is shown on the page 11 Combat Outcomes Chart. Wow! Guess who's just printed these??
I wonder if anyone has frequent difficulty with anything NOT on these pages?

Following on from another thread, what are the rule interpretations that cause the most difficulties/need to reference?
For me, it's the interpenetration via tactical move/recoil. I am never confident that I've remembered these right, so constantly have to refer back to the rules.

Tony, I'm watching some of your older videos where you explain the rules (you're not the only one who can get confused!)
Have you thought of making a video of yourself and Mitch going through the areas of the rules where you find inconsistencies or confusion?
Nope, DBA 3.0 videos are a thing of the past and not my responsibility to clear stuff up. I have done plenty (200+ videos) and achieved burn out on trying to get everyone to understand. I appreciate your support but this "you have done lots, but please do even more" has gotten old. This is especially true since there is no way to solve many of these issues and they will always creep up. It is a bit of like banging your head into a wall. I have fond memories of DBA 3.0 and have no hard feelings, but it is time to put my efforts into something I can control, solve and more forward with. Please enjoy those DBA 3.0 videos I have done as I will keep on my site indefinitely.
Having said that, I understand. Hopefully the urge will come back, but until then, good luck!

As an aside, and especially for our expert Tony A, which specific rules do you constantly need to look up? I guess you haven't been watching my videos as of late where it has come up.
