Not that I'm aware of as I can only make Historicon and there is as far as I can tell no home grown East Coast community left. TomT That's disheartening. Not that I'm tournament minded but as a yet to be player I'd like to watch or play a few games with someone who knows the game.

Will there be any DBA events at Cold Wars next month? If I go it will only be Friday the 15th but if there is some games I'd like to watch/play.

I just got the rules and have not read through them yet except for a few pages. I know the suggestion for the playing surface was between X and Y length and width. What is the size mist players use for 15mm? I will probably make my own.

In one of Britain's larger former colonies (USA), "Purple" shows as in-stock and available from On Military Matters for $42. I just ordered mine this week from there after a wargaming hiatus. Should have bought long ago but got sidelined by other projects

Guess I should have waited longer but over 3 months took its toll so I bought ADLG. Maybe I will circle back and pick it up, unless it gets out of print again!

Mike, what time and where will you be setting up on Saturday AM? I will have my son with me so I hope to spare some time to game DBA

I love the effort you put into your armies. Not only the presentation but also the research!

I'll be buying what I lack for my first two armies at Cold Wars. I'll be getting English and French medieval from Essex.

Can anyone suggest a good, readable book on the Hundred Years War? Preferably late 1300's? You can't go past Jonathan Sumption's series on the Hundred Year's War but it is currently at 4 volumes with one more to come Cheers
