Speaking of Huns. At TMP are photos of Blue Moon’s Goth and Hun figures. I may purchase a few packs for the Battle of Nedao. I like Blue Moon but they are large

Scored some METAL Corvus Belli EIR. Any suggestions on a worthy opponent that matches up size wise with CB? Looking more towards Eastern since the Bw I got are eastern dress. Thanks in advance for the suggestions. What did you end up going with? I decided on the Scotts-Irish. I went with a company I've never bought from Splintered Light. Figures look very nice. Well sculpted, maybe a tad smaller that the CB. Not happy with the shields but will see. Have not put any paint on them yet as I am finishing up my Late Romans and Visigoths!

And, I should ask for your geographic location, too (checked '7 pillars ...', Larry, will keep up with reading it in future.) I haven't used that blog in years. No time really. And pickled eggs is a PA staple!

I might be convinced. Don't really like the tournament scene from what I've seen in the past.

just bought a DBA II/54a Scots-Irish Army 55 BC-432 AD from Splintered Light Miniatures. Have never seen them in the flesh so I am anxious to see them.

great looking figures especially the pike blocks. who makes them? Larryr, All are Legio Heroica. Pike blocks are 7Hd better known as retinue pikemen. All 7Hd were given deeper bases to fit extra figures and the depth corresponds to two elements of pike. In action here in the Battle of Gavere. dbagora.blogspot.com/2021/01/threetests-used-standard-dba3-lists-for.htmlThanks for the reply. I'll have to get some LH at some point. Thanks for sharing!

they look gorgeous BTW. Were your foot soldier FIB too? If so what were they named? I didn't see a listing on their Parthian line for foot

I just had some come in the mail. I'll get to them at some point, I really need to focus and get some "started" armies completed!!

I think Forged in Battle would be a close match size-wise. Gives you either Parthians or Dacians. I think so too. I have never painted any FIB so it would be nice to try out that line!

II/44 Commagene , is another option . that would be an interesting army if I can find the miniaturs!
