And just to make it that more international, pizza for lunch...
Thanks for a great day Martin, and for occasionally letting me win one :-p

Hi Alan. I can bring two standard sized board and a third larger one. I'm sure I won't be the only one!
Fingers crossed they turn up...

I noted the request for articles and thought that most if not all of the battle reports, campaigns scratch building ideas and painting / army showcases would be suitable for “The Mill.” I also thought it was crying out for a “This is DBA” style article if anyone wants to pen one. I've just completed an article for the Society of Ancients' Slingshot magazine which could be adapted/expanded for an audience that is less familiar with DBA. I'll wait and see what sort of reception/critique (if any!) that gets, and get in touch with the PP chaps as necessary.

I hope to be there. A new local player is likely to be there too. Excellent! I've been encouraging some chaps from Bristol to come along, but I don't think they will be able to make it unfortunately.

Menacussecundus' 6mm armies are always a pleasure to see on the table, and if they've got 40mm frontage it shouldn't have any impact on play, I believe.
I am one of the hampshire crew intending to attend - looking forward to seeing you there Alan!

First of 27 in a non-Premier event will not gain you less points than being first in a smaller Premier event, at worst it will get you the same points.
First of 27 in a non-premier event nets the player 20 points in the league. First of 13 in a premier event nets that same player 25 points. It does seem this needs revision, given that tournament attendance distribution is changing.

Hi Scott,
Could you please add my regards to the list! Everyone would very much like to see him at Crusade or Bakewell in the next few months.
Regards,
Mark S

Sounds good, there's a lot of scope there. I hope to get to Staines this year - the chances would be improved with longer notice on the intended date! Haven't heard from Tim in a while, hope he's well.

There speaketh the absolute expert on LH warfare, who has shredded numerous armies including my own with a handful of LH – well, perhaps with the help of a few Ps! Colin Not to mention a healthy amount of 6's for pips.

As noted elsewhere I am putting together some Han WWg, so that is an interesting question Haardrada. Considering that the Han baggage carts with crossbowmen and archers were put together as a means of coping with steppe tribes, having them less effective against LH seems to go against their historical purpose. Well, perhaps their historical purpose was to drive them off rather than destroy them?
