Elements in bad going do not pursue (unless the bad going is marsh or gully). (Second sentence of the section headed Pursuit on page 12.) Ah, thanks for correcting me. Doubtless, I've been getting that wrong for years.

That result requires that the Solid Blade element must also Pursue, thereby sucking it further (with flanks exposed) into some dank swamp or inhospitable forest, perhaps to its eventual doom!

..and no one cares if they are lost. I care. If my Sassanid Levy Spearmen are lost, I feel that I am doomed!

Another option to consider, III/25b. The civil war between Caliph Ali and Aisha (656) – Battle of the Camel. Aisha could be considered spiritual leader for the rebel side. Her camel guarded by warriors on foot would make her a CP. If the figure is bearded, then add a veil. I think that's a splendid idea. I have an Arab Conquest army (Essex) and, while I don't normally mix other figures within an army, creating a "CP" vignette with a few Donnington figures would be a worthy exception. And I do always enjoy a good scenario game. This creates another problem, however. How can I order just 4-5 figures? No, of course not. Now I'm gonna have to look over their website to see what new army to order to "justify" the postage. Sigh.

But with no pictures, can we really be sure these games took place? (Grins.)

Okay, so I want an excuse to paint this Donnington figure. LinkAn Arab Big Shot on a camel with a covered howdah. Pretty nifty, eh? I wanna build an army around it, but using only Donnington's Armies of Islam range since I rarely mix ranges within armies. I'm okay with this camel boss on a Cv (Gen) element. There are so few Cm (Gen) elements anyway, and the rest of the Donnington range does suggest a Tuareg army. Oh, and my good friend, Eric Donaldson, already has a III/54b Qaramita army, so that's out too. Ha, ha. Remaining options would seem to be: - III/33 Early Muslim North Africa & Sicily
- III/54a Dynastic Bedouin
- III/75 Islamic Berber
Which would be the best fit? Or have I omitted a still better option? --Does anyone even know the source for this figure?
Thanks!

I've been checking the Legio Heroica website every few days to see if their "Temporarily Closed" status would change. The Nephews of Giuseppe (NOG) had been running the store intermittently since his death over a year ago. Back in May, the NOG said they hoped to resume operations "soon".
Now the website is just gone. Poof! No surprise, really. --Why should they maintain and pay for a dormant website if they have no plans to continue his business?
But I'll continue to enjoy the Legio Heroica figures I have. :-)

Guessing most everybody has seen Khurasan's FB post about their just-released range of Khazars. If not, here's the link. Mine should be en-route shortly.

Mazel Tov! It wouldn't make the two Hebrew armies any "better", but it sure' would make them more interesting. (Grins.)
Old timers will recall that DBA 1.1 had this required troop-type: 1xWWg (ark & escorts).

Burgundian Ordannance...a brilliant little army. Surprisingly tough considering it has 8 shooters.....the 8Lb with a combat factor of 4 against foot is brilliant. And when the 2 Art work...they really work!! Until it doesn't. Be sure to try games against Later Swiss. If the Swiss can get thru all the missile fire and get stuck in against the Burgundians, it's usually lights-out very quickly for the Burgundians. Fun games either way.

Thanks. I've had a Mikes Models Ottoman army for decades so I don't need another. But when I saw those new Ottomans that Khurasan Miniatures just released... Well, I was wanting an excuse to buy and paint some. Especially that crackin' Artillery model. Painting them as their Anatolian "cousins" might just work.

Would Anatolian Turmomans look appreciably different than Ottomans?

www.thingiverse.com/thing:3818758I want to order a couple of [Rod Felderman's] Chinese warwagons. Assuming you mean this one? You can find it easily here. Just beware Sung Artillery. Goes "poof" in a hurry.

Rats. Shapeways pulled the plug on my order of your Wooden Carts and Chinese Gates as well. They were unable to print them for some reason.

I ordered the siege tower too, and Shapeways gave me an error message for thin walls, so I fixed that, but they still don't like it...Did you get an error on your siege tower as well? Yes. They said that item has been "removed from my order".
