It WAS a great day....without exception, everyone played in true DBA style....chilled and no fuss!
Thanks to all for making the trip up (or down).
Will look forward to the 2023 Goulburn comp.......the theme next year will be 'A Knight to Remember'....a minimum of 4 Knight elements required. Allies allowed. And yes, an extra victory point for every Knight element you bring beyond the required 4. I'll put together an eligible armies list over the next month or so.
Cheers Mark

We've had one withdrawal and a change of heart in respect to army choice. Nick Rodgers will now be running Sui, with 6 Horde elements.....I applaud you, Sir!

Hi Mark, Are you able to elaborate as to the scoring system for this comp? Regards Stephen Sure....it's the normal Australian standard scoring system - a straight 8 points for a win and the loser gets 1 point for the loss + a point for every enemy element killed up to 3. Plus there are additional points if the loser kills the enemy General or captures their camp. Although if they did all that they wouldn't be the loser! BUT...in this comp, it's 8 points for the win if you have the minimum 2 Horde elements required PLUS an additional point for every extra Horde element you field. So, a victorious army with 4 Horde would gain 10 points and an army with 6 (we have 3 such heroes in the comp) would gain 12.

Just waiting on a couple of army lists and then I should be able to post a 'Runners and Riders' list. A really good spread of armies across all 4 books. And 6 or 7 people running at least 4 Horde....heroes all!!
17 confirmed players....maybe an 18th!
Should be a great day. See everyone there. Cheers Mark

We have reached 15 registered players, with a couple more still in the wings. AND a great variety of armies.....many are just going with the bare minimum of 2 Horde elements but there are a few heroes fielding up to 6! Still plenty of room for more players and it's not too late to sign up. Cheers Mark Heroes or damned fools...just saying. Looking forward to the day. Cheers, You've just outed yourself as a non-hero, Greg....
