Enjoyed the game, and some great stuff in there, but a small point on the rules front was that there was illegal contact by the SCh first up on the flank around 28 mins in - needs to be ‘in front edge to side edge contact with front corners in contact, [otherwise] move does not happen’. Could just have wheeled group in to create this contact and had overlap on left flank too 😎 oh, and your Ps couldn’t close the door as he was in the SCh’ threat zone 😱 P If you are talking sbout the SCh move to contact the side of the Roman Blade, it was with front corners in contact although it may not look like it from the angle. I think the reason he did not wheel is because he wanted his Aux to contact the blade as well in the same bound, so he had to move separately. Apologies - you are correct - my bad (although you still couldn't move your Ps to flank the other element, so Mitch wins by default... hehehehe...) P.

Honestly, I did not look at the second part of your correction since it is a pain to post on this forum from my phone (I have not had a home computer since 2012.)

A 45 minute video takes about 1.5 hours to edit (not long considering I have to watch the video as I go) and then about 1 hour to process the video so it can be uploaded and the uploading takes about 2.5 hours. So basically 3.5 hours per video that I can't use my phone during or I have to start over. The alternative is wait until Monday-Friday to upload from fast connection at work, but I want to get them up as soon as possible.

Hell..that is a lot of pain to go through - if it makes you feel any better, they are much appreciated One favour, though - you boys need to get some dice cups... it's driving me mad watching those dice fly everywhere! P.

P. Not going to happen, because they bump the pieces on the game board. I personally like them but they have cause a lot of issues in the past with units moving out of place.

Not if you use the table around the game board and you have plenty of that to go at Also solves problems with cocked dice, although you boys seem pretty relaxed about that one...

Yep, we play all cocked dice. Of course, we have a pretty good honor code too.

Also I think Mitch is a true gentleman and would love to play against him. Oh and 1 1/2 hours to down load the videos - much appreciated and time well spent. Thank you! P. S. Love your painting too. Army envy with you Mediaeval Germans! Paddy

Not sure I am down with these new fangled red and green dice. I can be a traditionalist when it comes to dice and a nice 16mm opaque square edge does it for me.

I would find dice cups in the videos totally distracting, and I am guessing harder to film. The dice rolling across the table, while maybe not best in gaming, sure works well in the videos! I find dice towers are also a two-edged sword. They work great till you miss, and the dice go all over the floor, or till you see yours looking like it'll come up '6', then your opponent's comes down the chute, and knocks it around ... I long for the day when we just roll on our cell phones... Silent, reliable, pseudo-random (like handthrown dice) and you can track results...

I would find dice cups in the videos totally distracting, and I am guessing harder to film. Errr... why and why...? Tony makes the point about dice cups bumping the figures on the game board, but this happens anyway (just watch some of the footage from late on in the Hawaiians' game to see this in action) and I've never yet bumped a figure using a dice cup in tournaments. It's also cleaner and does away with 'fishy' dice rolling actions Each to their own, I guess... P.

Background objects causing clutter. Low light levels. In and out of focus on large, moving, possibly shiny objects? Oh, I don't know, things like ... that?

Much as I love Tony's videos (and I do... I really do), it's not like we're talking about an Oliver Stone, Oscar winning piece of work here P.
