Thank you very much! Is there any chance to still become part of the playtest team? I am very excited about this and can't wait to get my hands on those rules.
I assume the silence means "no"?
I hear it's very clicky to get in, Stevie said something about balls

Apologies for missing this one! We have only four weeks left of Alpha testing and then we hope to move to the final phase of constructing the Beta version for checking in early 2024. If you message me with your email details, I’ll include you in the Beta phase for feedback on the final product. Regards Paul

First of all, it’s really great that you start this project! I apologize if I touch on a sensitive topic, as I understand Triumph! rules from the WGC aren't widely favored here. However, I'd like to draw attention not the content but the form, specifically the clear and precise presentation of this rules. The numbered item, consistent structure, attention to detail, and "legal accuracy" have garnered many positive feedback (mostly from those who have grappled with DBA). Notably, there's been no FAQ in the entire existence of Triumph! rules. I think it's simply because no questions arise after reading it, this is an absolutely clear explanation. So, perhaps, something useful can be taken from there to new DBF rules in terms of form and style of presentation (at least partially). Just my opinion.

Hi All, We're actually playing a campaign of HotT/DBA using the GW World as background for the fantasy chaos armies. Im not sure to have the final version of DBF so far (we started with D3H2), but we tried to do fantasy battles as close as possible to DBA which works fine. Yes there are certain simplifications but its DBA so its fine for us. In our club in Erlangen/Germany we are really curious on the final DBF rules. Regards Carlos

Diagrams have been placed within the rules for easy reference and are much improved aesthetic. We hope this style becomes the standard for WRG. TomT

Included are rules that give more flavor so they fit in a comprehensive fantasy world. So Goblins are not exactly like Elves and Undead are very different than standard Element types. Rules have almost advanced to Beta. We just completed our 17th playtest game over the weekend. They will work equally well for DBA sized games as well as "Big Battle". TomT

TomT If you want or need any information on the DBA Fantasy (little modified D3H2) in our campaign games in the Chaos Reign please send an e-mail. We played about 25 games up to now. Hearing that you will bring army lists and specials rules to Fantasy troops sounds good. Do you have informations for the time schedule of the publication so far?

I've recently been re-reading my (1991?) HoTT and yearning for a bit of DBA-scale fantasy action, so really looking forward to this one. medievalthomas I emailed you at DBFThomasThomas@gmail.com if you're still looking for proof-readers, I'd be happy to serve. Edit: Presumably folks are aware of the (1997-98?) DBF (De Bellis Fantasticus) by Keep Wargaming? A quick internet search hints there may have also been a 2nd edition with expanded army lists. Will the DBF name work alongside that one, or simply subsume it?
