2ft boards will be used and supplied. Please bring your army, its terrain, camp, rules, dice etc etc. A question about camp followers , what if Player A brings the element for their force , but Player B doesn't ?

Player A’s camp followers could sally out, player B’s camp followers couldn’t. Personally, I’d take a spare camp follower, so I have the option…especially as you use the opponent’s army half the games. (does that answer your query, or did I misinterpret the question?)

I was more thinking about when camps get attacked , if i'm playing with someone else's army without CFs , it makes it easier to take the camp . I would also take along a spare CF element to use as well .

Ah, get your drift. My ‘rule of thumb’ is that if there’s camp followers as a separate element they can sally, if there are fixed cf’s they cannot. If none are shown they hiding in tents, and just not visible.
I don’t enforce the ‘no camp followers shown, there are no camp defenders’ interpretation of the boook.

The rule is ‘same 12 element army for every game’ [but bearing in mind that dismounting IS permitted for this tournament, so in theory one might use mounted or dismounted versions of certain items among the 12 in different games]. NB - Lithuanians NOT PERMITTED….(these have LH who dismount as Bw). NB also - one uses the opponent’s army in rounds 2, 4 and 6. Dang - that’s a shame. So pick something you can’t win with and guaranteed to win half Not necessarily. You would only guarantee to lose half, but an opponent might be able to win with it.

Another question, do you have to use the same 12 elements in each battle or can you change them? The rule is ‘same 12 element army for every game’ [but bearing in mind that dismounting IS permitted for this tournament, so in theory one might use mounted or dismounted versions of certain items among the 12 in different games]. NB - Lithuanians NOT PERMITTED….(these have LH who dismount as Bw). Just to clarify, do you mean we can't use Lithuanians at all, or just that their LH can't dismount if we do bring them? And what if we bring Lithuanians with more than 6 LH/Ps. Can we nominate those above the mandatory 6 that can dismount?

Lithuanians could be brought, but to avoid confusion they’d all have to remain as the type they start the game as, Bill. No dismounting Lithuanians , as per my post in this thread on Nov 9th 2023. . If you want further clarification pls send an email, to discuss.

Greetings, gamers…
All the usual bumff about what , where and when will start being sent out after Steel Warriors is done, but in the meantime just a note to say:-
Today I received the painted army prize from Colin. It’s an Alan army, very nicely presented, as one might expect with ‘a genuine O’Shea’ 😁. Some figures were donated by Gordon Frater, a few others by Colin.
And to top it all, it complies with the Alton theme for this year, having 5 LH and a Ps. Someone’s going to be a very happy bunny…
Cheers for now
M

Does that mean we can borrow it for the tournament - a sort of "try before you buy (or win)" offer?

What a treat!
