Originally only 4 pages long (and two of them are “Fleet Lists”, while another is merely a page of starship counter samples) it can be found here:- i.ibb.co/3Sy0TMf/Space-Battle-Ho-TT-v2.jpg...and here is an additional supplement covering the " Babylon 5" universe. i.ibb.co/W5s0Nd5/Babylon-5-Fleet-Lists.jpgLater Edit Version 2 above has more pages. There is still the 1 page Terrain Guide, and 2 pages of revamped Fleet Lists, but now there are also some 10 pages of pretty pictures:- 5 pages of Ship Counters, 2 pages of Starbase Strongholds, and 3 pages of Terrain.I have not added it to the Fanaticus Wiki just yet as it’s still undergoing development. Perhaps other players can offer their own comments, observations, and suggestions.

Fantastic stevie! I'll have a read tomorrow. Here is a link to Damn Battleships Again (DBSA), PB's prototype for DBA on the high seas. It may have some ideas. DBSACheers Jim

I have made a few minor updates and changed the link in the first post to “SB-HoTT v1a”. Nothing major…just some spelling corrections, added a few more descriptions, and made the Federation’s Defiant and the Breen Interceptor pictures slightly smaller. (I also had the Breen ship upside-down!) And thanks for that link Jim. I will certainly give it a read.

Great stuff!

I have updated the link on first page of this thread to “ SB-HoTT version 2”, which now contains some 10 pages of pretty pictures covering the following:- 5 pages of Ship Counters, 2 pages of Starbase Strongholds, and 3 pages of Space Terrain. (See i.ibb.co/3Sy0TMf/Space-Battle-Ho-TT-v2.jpg ) Next I’ll be posting some battle reports, with photos. Here is a sample, where the Rebel Alliance, with Luke Skywalker on board the Millennium Falcon, is about to assault the forces of Darth Vader’s Galactic Empire and their Death Star Stronghold, who have deployed their fleet between an Asteroid Field and a Comet to avoid being outflanked by the superior numbers of Rebel Fighters:- (I’m afraid the Imperial player humming ♫“…da…da…dar…da-dadar…da-dadar…”♪ is unavoidable)

Just the thing I dreamt of since I saw the movies... I'll mount them on 60mm or 80mm wide bases! Just for the fun of wide spaces. And I am really keen on seeing the first scratchbuilt miniature asteroids and stuff. My kids will stare... ... and maybe even leave their VR.

Here a bit of my new Space Battle HoTT terrain. Not even scratch built. Just a billiard ball and a handful of lava stones...

I find that pieces of cork make good asteroids, even when unpainted. Has anybody noticed a theme about my uses of stuff for SB-HoTT? Drinking straws for stalks… Beer mats for bases… Old wine bottle corks for asteroids… What can I say…wargaming isn’t my only hobby (hic!). 🍺

I have found an interesting site that may be of interest to those that are interested. See www.meshweaver.com/b5-craft-comparison-study.html I plan on using these pictures for “ Babylon 5 Universe” fleet counters. However, before I do so and get far ahead of myself, I really must finish the current SB-HoTT planets, which will need some detailed painting. But perhaps the following might help to speed up this process, see this → link

Here is a supplement for SB-HoTT covering the “ Babylon 5 Universe”, which is very much a personal favorite of mine. And it can be found here: i.ibb.co/W5s0Nd5/Babylon-5-Fleet-Lists.jpg “The Babylon project was our last, best hope for peace…it failed. But in the year of the Shadow War, it became something greater: our last, best hope for victory.”

I have finally got my SB-HoTT planets finished. As my painting skills were not up to the job ( an airbrush is needed, not a paintbrush), I ended up cheating by using these pre-made planets →link, which are a bit larger than required. What you see is:- 3 Huge Suns (90mm to 110mm in size, on 90mm bases). 3 Gas Giant Planets (each 60mm in size, on 60mm bases). 6 Terrestrial Planets: a rocky world, a cloudy world, an Earth-like world, a desert world, a water world, and a snow covered world (each is 60mm in size, on 50mm bases). 6 Airless Moons: three grey rocky moons, two white icy moons, and one volcanic moon (each is 25mm in size, on 25mm bases). 4 Asteroid Fields (two large 2 x 4 BW, and two small 1½ x 3 BW). 4 Dust Clouds (also two large 2 x 4 BW, and two small 1½ x 3 BW). 4 Comet Tails (two large 1 x 4 BW, and two small 1 x 3 BW). There are a few more planets and moons than are really necessary, as I like to randomly roll to see which is actually present for a bit of variety.
