I'll get some better pictures and dig out some other figures to compare later in the weekend.

Various other figures for comparison including: Splintered Light Pictish Cavalry, Donnington Later Anglo-Saxons, Museum miniatures, Mick Yarrow figures & Old Glory 15's. In general the Wiglaf figures required little or no flash preping, just a few odd spurs hanging from shields. Bases needed a quick file to make them stand steady, but nothing too much. I'll start on painting the new figures next week :-) Andy

Darn scale creep. They look nice, but to my eye, they're incompatible with the other brands pictured. I can't see mixing them in with others, but to each his or her own, of course!

Thanks for sharing the photo Saxonred. I hope you enjoy painting them. Refering back to the early posts in this thread, I mentioned there that I've called the range 18mm as they don't mix well with some of the other "15mm" ranges. These ones really are 18mm from foot to eye.

I don't mind the mix in sizes, I'll find a place for these 20 in one of my an Anglo-Saxon armies.
I'm looking forward to the Vendal figures. Something that's been on my wish list for ages.
