They'll have the distinctive wrap-around coat and helmets will be based on known examples (as I've done for the Anglo-Saxons). Unarmoured and armoured spearmen, with Psiloi from the A-S range. And I'm aiming to produce mounted troops too. That said, I need to get the A-S range out before leaping too far ahead...
Army-wise, 3.0 suggests army II/73 (page 137).

They look really cool. I think that such a set can be a great gift especially for board game lovers ... it's really strange when no one uses the figurines. lol

I like the way these look. Proper sized shields too. I may be having to start a new army once these are on the North Star site.

Ooooow real Vendal period figures you say, can you give us a flavour of what to expect? At 18mm they should fit nicely up against Splintered Light figures. Big guys in masks I suppose.

Ordered 2 packs, Warlord + followers and the armoured warriors. Love your avatar. Yorkshire Tea is always on our shopping list. I'm just pleased that it is available here in Australia. Cheers,

I will admit that I'm a bit of a sad tea 'snob' and even take some on holiday with me, it's such a good brew. This little dittie sums it up! m.youtube.com/watch?v=GFfn8L2saYI

Yep later this weekend but on first impression they're large 15mm, look to be ok with Forged in Battle and Splintered Light figures

The figures on the left are Splintered Light early Saxons, those to the far right are Forged in battle Saxon raiders. The big tall chap at the back is very rude π
