Ditto to Baldie. I am motivated by price, however. While I prefer metal, I can always add a little bit of weight to an element of plastic figures. What troubles me the most with these figures is the flash. Well the commentator didn’t seem to mind it, once you’re scraping away a whole DBA army worth of figures it gets to be tedious.
I wonder how the MeG people got their own line of figures? I suspected many of the readers here do not know that Phil Barker had his named range of figures back in the 70s. Miniature figurines made a PB series of ancient figures.
Does anyone know the composition of the particular figures in a box. For example is there enough but not too much imperial Romans to make an army for Dba?
With so many superb models coming available in this day and age, I gotta say, these don't particularly "wow" me. They're passably nice. Certainly a far sight better than old Minifigs, but trading the hazards of metal for the hazards of resin is a wash and the detail is just OK. the brittle bendy spears is a boo. Suits others tastes, but I'm not smitten.
I quite like those figures, especially the elephant.
For the interested there are plenty more figures planned to be released by PSC so some may be of more interest. All the Lurkio ranges I beleive plus the Corvus Belli ranges and the Xyston ranges. I've no idea of the schedule though and it'll take time for all those to be available I would have thought as there are quite a lot.
