Now on to 'biblical' chariots. Got to admit, I'm not fond of painting chariots!

Things kind of stalled on my Murong Hsein-pi back in June as Summer finally arrived and several "projects" gained priority...the first being a holiday in Scotland which disrupted my painting regime so much that when I got back home my plan lacked enthusiasm and a general sort out was my way of getting some direction. This only distracted me into sorting my odds and ends piles into armies I could build with only minimal acquisition or that I could already field by borrowing from my other armies.
Meanwhile further distraction was offered by the posting of two lists of armies allowed for two Tournements (Late Summer PAWS and Pachydermus Problemacus)...which although I live far too far away to attend..do distract me as I weigh up what army I would take if I could go and what armies may be taken by the contenders....it's a sort of arm-chair participation in the event while waiting patiently for how the events turn out on the day.
This has led me to go back to my Indian armies to add elements and to lure me back into doing them rather than continuing with my Chinese Sixteen Kingdom armies. So this morning I can report that I've undercoated 2 elephants, rocket artillery and a later Indian Cavalry element....this leaves my Murong Hsein-pi 4x6 Cav half finished.🤔
Does anyone else suffer from this syndrome?😂

Hence my purchase of chariots to expand the 'biblical' armies I can field.

Ok then maybe a little, just had a look at the Greeks and I have sufficient for my modest needs. It was a chum selling me 12 bases of Greeks that got me into DBA and ancient gaming and I am forever thankful to him. Cheers Dave fantastico!

Not sure who to thank given how little I understand or use social media!! so I am guessing its lesp1964 and hoffmannsama, thank you for sharing paulisper goths! Lovely work. Lovely 'horde' to sweep away those Roman provincials. Meanwhile Baldie the phalanx is impressive and huge. And did you know a wormhole opened up in LOTR land, bringing an ancient Greek horde to invade and defeat all who didnt recognise the true calling of the Labyrinth.... CarlL

Good work that man. You know it could be seen as obsessive to base an army 3 times

Not a lot painted over the weekend - it was Wf(X)'s birthday so myself and the (not so) little warbands were paying attention elsewhere I did sneak in some time to base the figures painted last week and to finish off 2xPs for the Later Hungarians 1xSp and 1xPs for the Morean Byzantine Cheers

Just finished a 28mm Viking army (III/40a). I've posted a couple of pictures on my club's Facebook group. This link should take you there. www.facebook.com/groups/8526860097

Just completed my 1/53 Saitic Egyptians ready for Britcon. Seemed to take ages with the paint drying on the wet palette before it even got to the brush.

Yesterday I rounded off the afternoon at the painting desk but had to drop everything to run an errand for the elder of the (not so) little warbands.
I was close to finishing some strips but had another engagement for the evening so didn't go back until this morning. The end result was to finish
2x3Bw for the Elamites 2x3Wb for the Guti Great Revolt 2x3Bw for the Anatolian Turkomen
The first two are now so close to finished I can almost taste it
Cheers
