Pharaoh has arrived to take command of my New Kingdom Egyptians: That's spectacular Kaiphranos and very stately at the same time. Cheers,

Thank you lesp1964 for sharing public link wise.

menacussecundus, great link, hopefully I got the right Vikings, 28mm (posted by Denis Grey).... they do look lovely. I agree four 28mm on a 6x2 cm base is a challenge too far for active pose figures (even in old 25mm!) CarlL

It's been a while since I sat down to the paints, but this weekend I had a couple of decent stretches - allowing me to finish basing the last set of completions and then finish off
2x4Bw for the Later Hungarians 1xLH for the Morean Byzantines 1x3Wb and 1x4Bw for the Guti Great Revolt 1x3Bw, 1xPs and 1x3Bd for the Elamites
The Elamites are now Battle Ready - I have finished the 12 elements that I would choose for battle
Cheers

Thegns, Galwegians and mounted Scots are done. Tomorrow I will need to buy some extra scenic material, but the army will be based. This weekend will be devoted to painting banners for the Scots, new ones for the Middle Anglo-Saxon and Viking collections. It will be party time in Northumbria soon. Down to the home stretch, twenty-eight bases covered with sand/glue mix. Tomorrow, grass and tufts. Any suggestions for a Pre-Feudal Scots banner? As I understand it from reading Nigel Tranter The banner of Pre Feudal Alba was a Black Boar - it was changed to the Lion by William (The Lion) - one of the Grandsons of David I. Cheers

Basing delayed as a desire to continue painting has taken root....so a general undercoating session took place this morning seeing 3xSp & yet another Hindu Elephant General(possibly Harsha himself.lol) for the Kenauj.1x3Bd,2x3Bw,1xPs & 1x3Kn(more Rajputs)for the Delhi Sultanate..all prepped and ready to go.The Jagirdars are all de-flashed and glued to their horses if not already one piece castings and ready to undercoat too.
The Elephant and Artillery are already undercoated so once the Jagirdars catch up the army will be ready to paint.🙂
