Dont forget as my club mate says there is no such thing as a brown horse. This has resulted in our entire club calling them brown as often as possible in any conversation about horse colouration. Don't worry...first I thing I invested in when I started miniature wargaming was a book on horses that shows colors and such. And I learned that Appaloosas weren't used as military horses until after the US Civil War.

Nice painting. The photo presentation of technique I found very useful. I will keep in mind some of the product you used for my own work.

Nice painting and base work paul. One of these days I'll have to get around to finishing up more of my element bases and will refer to your presentation as well.
Meanwhile, a couple of days ago I wrapped up painting on an element of KN with a trio of hat I presume are Mike's Models knights with mail covered flat top, round shield , and mace for the Later Crusade/Early Medieval pool. Along with an element of KN with three one piece Norman(?) figures from an unknown manufacturer (will have to see about posting pictures for possible ID).
Currently wrapping up some Baueda LNG09 shielded Archers. One 3BW for the Early and a 3BW and a PS for a start on my Italian Lombards. Six element worth of KN in the wings awaiting some buildup of the lance hand prior to drilling them out for lances. Eight elements of BW in the painting lineup (along with some Franks - all of those stripes...).
With all of the stripey tunics if the Franks and Lombards ever have a go at each other it will make for a nice scrum when the lines come together...

Yesterday I completed figures for 4xSp. I'll base them today. Next up are figures for 3x4Bd. Cheers, Yesterday I undercoated/primed the 12 figures for the Anglo-Norman 3x4Bd. As it is Mother's Day weekend here in Australia, I very much doubt that I'll get paint on brush. Cheers, Over the weekend I finally got round to painting and basing the 3x4Bd elements. When it gets a bit warmer, hopefully today, I'll undercoat the figures for the 1x3Kn and 1xPs elements. Cheers,
