Finally finished the 15mm Sub-Roman British Arthurian and Strathclyde (two separate armies) and am now painting 25mm 'German' cavalry for the Vandal army. Still need to do thousands of bases though ....

I've had a long holiday from the painting desk, two weekends away with family and then a minor injury last Friday. I snuck in some brush strokes and basing on Sunday - aside from basing up all the elements finished prior to the time away I managed to get in 2x3Ax completed from my I/8a Saba/Makkan Cheers Hi C. Which figures are you using for the Saba?

Hi all
Is it just me that has converted some of his old 25mm WRG 6th armies into DBA 3 armies, or does everyone else just use 15mm?

The 28mm Post-Roman British cavalry are done, so that's another army painted. As usual, though, I still have the bases to do.

I've added mine, but some are using the same figures when there are a/b/c etc. variants.

Currently painting Napoleonic-era Georgian Khevsurs. A long way to go before I have a full army, though!

Sharon Penman's 'Here Be Dragons' is one of my favourite historical novels. Don't know about its historical accuracy, although it's supposed to be fairly accurate, but a good read. I think that "When Christ and His Saints Slept" is my favourite. Love the Anarchy period. Cheers, Good choice. One of my few 'heroes' is Llewelyn Fawr, at the heart of 'Dragons'. I have the Welsh DBA army in both 15mm and 25mm!
