They also seemed to have several asthmatic bagpipes judging from the sounds they were making. Blame that on a German named Scott.

Check out "Dry Spell" our latest series of battles filmed on Monday night using De Bellis Antiquitatis 3.0. This is a series of SIX DBA 3.0 Battles with the theme being that the armies had to have a home topography of either Dry or Steppe. As it turns out none of the players picked a Steppe army. Here are the players and armies they used. Joe Kohten III/31 Umayyad Mitch Harbach II/74a Palmyran Scott Ludwig I/7b Early Libyan with I/28 Sea People ally Tony Aguilar III/10b Rajput See link below: youtu.be/evNgQ7rMj0o

Gutsy move bringing a knife to a knight fight.
Worth a look just for the Libyans alone.

Helped me get through 15 crusader tanks. Great scraps chaps. ALL HAIL BARKER It also helped me finish 55 Arab foot - Tony you are building a lead legacy by proxy! Well done! A request for a future game night theme - how about armies with more than 6 troop types in the armies in a sort of “variety voyage” game night OR armies with 2 or fewer troop types as a “test of troop types” game night. I just think these themes would create interesting battles to watch.

Scott just picked the theme for next week and our special visitor has already picked the theme for the following week.

Tony - the Swiss Army theme is a far better name than I thought of. That would be fun to see just to know what armies get fielded. Would they all tend to the same direction or would they be quite different as you had with Psloi silliness?
The more I think about an “It takes two” theme, where only armies with two troop types are allowed, the more I’d like to see it. It would show off the rock, paper, scissors nature of the rules and be fun to play.........but which armies?

Last night's battles are now on my Youtube channel. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ey2GSS0S2AM&feature=youtu.beThis is a series of SIX DBA 3.0 Battles with the theme being that the armies had to have a minimum of SIX solid foot elements. Here are the players and armies they used. Joe Kohten II/78a Late Imperial Roman West Scott Ludwig II/74a Odenathus' Palmyrans Mitch Harbach II/15 Macedonian Imperial Tony Aguilar IV/58 Medieval Irish with III/78 Scots Isles ally This was the first cool game night of the season, so enjoy the sound of silence without the rattling A/C. Don't forget to like and subscribe to my channel for more DBA content.
