The NKE v Sea Persons was a good one. Thanks for posting it. Always a tight match.
Coupla minor queries- rules for landing - Mitch says about 2:40 in something like ‘cannot be in bad going’. Can’t find a rule which confirms this (we play that landings can be in any terrain, so Ps or Ax or 3Bw can be faves, landing in poor terrain areas on the waterway). About 35 minutes in there’s a reference to ‘look how far the back corner moved’. Only furthest moving front corner measurement under v3 (like in Hott).
Love the battle....a classic encounter, and touch and go til the end. Best type of game !

Mistakes will definitely be made (and can't be edited out once posted as I do everything on the phone and video is removed to make space) since we tend to elaborate and this is all unscripted. Now that I think about it, it would probably be a good idea to make this comment directly on the Youtube site so that all can see if there are any mistakes made or if corrections are needed. Thanks for watching.

Thanks Tony. NOT trying to be critical, but thinking that other gamers might take rules ‘as stated in the video’ rather than per the book.
You’re doing a grand job. Just 1/2 way through watching Persians fighting Classical Indians. Another deadly encounter.

Is the thinking that the waterway may be bordered by up to 2BW of good going?
I have a question though. The waterway is a linear terrain feature so terrain features can be places next to it, without a 1BW gap. Is this 2BW of good going also count as part of this waterway linear terrain feature? I assume so.
P.S. I like rule debates sparked by Tony’s videos. It makes them far more pertinent and real.

Hi Tony.
One question about the NKE v Sea Peoples. Did Mitch have his camp back-to-front with the water projecting into the battlefield?
Cheers
Jim

I completely understand the abstract nature of the camp. It just looked funny to me! I also assume your Qin army doesn't have a display version of the Great Wall that it lugs around on carts to house the general (come to think of it, this may not be that implausable...) Love your videos and always learn a lot! Cheers Jim

Tony, I’ve recently been going back over some of you older YouTube videos and am impressed by how the production quality of your videos has improved over the last year and a bit. They get better and better. Shame the Oscar nomination hasn’t come through yet.
One thought - you do a lovely close up of the armies at the start but this can get masked by the credits. Any chance you can use this close up when you talk about army composition before going to table view? It could just be me but I like “the toy soldier porn” part of your videos as well as the playing.

Yes, this was an issue particularly in the Indian/Persian matchup. It wasn't intentional but just have to remember to take some stills at the beginning that you can extend the frame and the but the title on that instead of the rolling video with the title obscuring the troops. It is all a work in progress. I am glad you are enjoying them.
