Tony when you look at the Knights/Blades combat the odds are quite interesting... Assuming it is just one 4Bd v one Kn and no generals or terrain impacts the combat, and no flanks or overlaps etc. then... Kn destroy 4Bd 42% of the time Kn recoil 36% of the time 4Bd destroy Kn 22% of the time. So the match up says 60/40 in favour of a outcome in favour of Bd, but if that 40% comes up...then say good night to those Bd. For consideration..if the Bd gains an overlap on the Kn the stats change.... Kn die.....30.56% Kn recoil..41.67% Bd die.....27.78% 😊

Hello Tony, Snip Let's have a look at my diagram below: For me, I have to play it step by step (A1 - A3) to get it right. I think you just skipped step A2, because of your 'mastery' - isn't it? Cheers, Ronald. fanaticus.boards.net/attachment/download/759Nothing was actually skipped. Lighthorse group contacted the single element. Then following the rule for conforming, the individual element lined up edge to edge corner to corner with the front light horse. "A single element contacted by a group conforms to it unless itself entirely in bad and/or rough going in which case the group conforms." conforming is not a two-stage process. There is contact and then the Element that must conform does so. Your first and third diagrams illustrate this perfectly. After months of discussion by the FAQ group, a resolution of the 1 step vs the 2 step conforming has been reached. Ronald's interpretation has been accepted. I went along as it seems the better solution.

Just watched the Viking v Leidang - very entertaining and informative. I agree that the shore edge of the sea terrain piece should be counted as it makes the game simpler by avoiding any confusion as to where the landing troops can deploy. It was interesting to see just how many draws can happen in a game - good thing the Kn were kept away from the Viking blade.

Hey Tony Any chance you and the guys could play a battle with a Light Horse heavy army? I'd like to see what tricks you guys have developed for using them (if any). I've already started to angle my elements and make better use of ZoCs thanks to watching your videos.

After a couple of months break, we have another DBA battle up on Youtube. This time it is a barbarian slugfest. youtu.be/B8Hdnsa6gvIWe would do these EVERY week, except that we have too many players that would have to sit idle while we did these. If we only had two or three of us, we would film EVERY game we played. I guess it is a good problem to have.

Yet another entertaining video thanks Tony. I think I would be inclined to throw that white die just one more time - preferably about 400 yards into some rough terrain where it would never to found!

Simon But, but, but the BLACK die was the one that has a history of sucking. Die will be dice, but it is fun to see conspiracy theorists and skeptics heads explode.
