I'm not a DBA player but I coordinate ancients tournament in the Gulf Coast region. We are looking at having a GCC (Gulf Coast Championship) sanctioned event at Norbert-Gisclair in October. Having said that, is there any sort of standardized scoring system for DBA tournaments? I'm trying to help out the organizers so they have everything in order.
Thanks, Christopher Anders 2016-2017 GCC Cordinator

I do not know of one in the U.K., so it would probably pay to go through the OLD Fanaticus sight and see what you can find.

Christopher, There is no internationally used system. The NASAMW system is widely used in the US. Look on the old fanaticus. Search "tournament scoring Systems" if you fancy an hour or so of reading combative verbal debate. In the UK the trend is towards simpler systems, for example 3 for a win, 1 for a draw, and final tie-break resolved by sum of opponent's scores. It does also depend on how you are pairing opponents in each round. Scott
