In 3.0 this looks like an interesting army, with 4 x 3Pk. Any suggestions for figures? Scott

Xyston does Mountain Indians based on the Armies and Enemies of the Macedonian and Punic Wars compendium. I personally don't care for the size of the newer Xystons. Just got some of their Indian Guardsmen and Clubmen that I will bet dwarf some of my old 20s.
Tabletop (Mick Yarrow, UK and Battleline, NZ) has Mountain Indians in their lineup, but they are more of the traditional javelinmen with shields.
Minifigs in their New Indian line has some figures that look more appropriate for the PK, although they are still more of a spearman.
Based on what I had on hand I decided to go with the older Minifig Z-82 figures for the PK - they are holding their javelins in a higher position and look pikier than the Essex or OG15 figures. Some figures I got off TMP had been painted with a long sleeved tunic per the Armies and e illustration which I have repainted back to a bare torso (color was not suitable).
The rest of my army is pretty much Essex. Have to go do some work, if I can get the camera to work will post a pic later.

Minifigs is indeed a fine option for II/2 Mountain Indians. See this army by the "Teenage Visigoth" in Calgary. teenagevisigoth.blogspot.com/p/dba-gallery-book-ii.htmlI saw those pics and bought the range moments later from Caliver Books in England. Great service from that Minifigs distributor. Very happy with the castings. Only partially painted so far.

Scott,
The beautiful thing about Indians is that you can build one DBA army and then it doesn't take much to expand out to cover all the others. That plus Indina Civil war battles seem to be some of the best I've played.
My Indians are all from Magister Militum (the Chariot miniatures range). They do a good range of Indians with nice looing elephants and chariots, good archers and javelinmen. See here.......https://www.magistermilitum.com/dba-army-ii-2-mountain-indian-500-to-179-bc.html
.....however, no Pike. So for Mountain Indian Fast Pike I took the IND8 figure (Javelinman with shield) and then drilled out the javelin and added a Xyston pike. I reckon they look good and will post some photos when I can work out how to post and share photos after Photobucket went bad!
