Lovely! A period that is too often neglected!

Great! Not only are they beautiful but that link also reminded me of their Byzantines, Sassanids and Skythians! The lead mountain grows on and on... Jim

Lovely! A period that is too often neglected! I'm a big fan of Chinese (and other Asian) armies.

Do I really need a third Han Chinese army? I already have two: Western Han in "strip" Minifigs, and Eastern Han in Mikes Models. But the inclusion of Han Rebels in this Lurkio range may let me scratch an itch I've had for awhile. I've long wondered why there wasn't an army-list for either the Red Eyebrows or Yellow Scarves rebellions. Then I realized they may have been hidden in plain sight! By selectively choosing elements from the II/41a list, one can plausibly build a rebel army. For example... So, yes, I guess I do need a third Han army. Sigh.

Dammit - me too now - and I haven't even seen the figures yet, my work blocks the Luriko site for some reason (and yet I can still shop at Outpost and Khurusan from the safety of my desk) so it goes!

Decent looking figures and some good poses on the rebels.
Have to say I rather like the Essex Han.
Good to see manufacturers doing Asian troops, but since Falcon appears to be out of the game, would rather see them do Three Kingdom Koreans or another less well represented army.
Still, if some crop up on the secondary market I would pick them up.

Can you mix Lurkio figures with other ranges... ie. Essex?
