Simon,
Can I just check whether the eligible armies are (a) the Teutonic armies (list IV/30), any of their listed enemies, plus any of the enemies' enemies who existed in 1217 or (b) the Teutonic armies, any of their enemies who existed in 1217, plus any of the latter's enemies who existed in 1217?
(b) would rule out roughly half of the armies listed as enemies of IV/30, but would still leave a wide choice - mainly because the Mongol Conquest army has so many enemies who were around in 1217 (even if they weren't around for very much longer after that date).

Denis,
Thanks for the clarifying question. It is b and as you say the Mongols help bring a wide variety. I have posted what I think is the list on the Britcon website but am open to any corrections!
Kind regards
Simon

I don't think Pechenegs (III/47) are allowed. The list finishes in 1122. Otherwise, your list tallies with what I worked out last night.

Thanks Denis. The error was obviously triggered by my subconscious due to my Pechenegs being my first army! I will have corrected on BHGS site.

Simon, What scoring system will you use? Unless there are howls of protest, I intend to use a slight variation of the Northern cup rules as follows: 4 points for a victory 0 point for a defeat 0 point for a drawn/unfinished game +1 point for each enemy element destroyed +1 point for enemy general destroyed +1 point for enemy camp captured In addition, and further to feedback from the Bakewell event, - no dismounting! Regards Simon
