Hi, I'm mostly building armies that fought against the "Polybian" romans, and my future army will be the Seleucids (II/19c, 4Kn, El and SCh in the same list: What else ? ). I mainly use Essex figures, and looking on their webstore I can't find any photo of their seleucid phalangistes. does one of you guys own this model and can post a photo ? Thanks

Thanks I used Google and entered 15mm Essex Seleucid army for my search. There are a number of photos, but they are hard to tell if they are the correct figure or Macedonian painted with Seleucid shield patterns.

Here's a shot of 15mm Essex Seleucid pikemen. The 4x4Pk elements at centre are part of a 15mm Essex DBA Seleucid army, painted and owned by Eric Donaldson, Seattle

…gaming in the Polybian period i prefer light or fast armies like Thracians, Apulians, Scythians or Iberians: ... ...or sometime the solid version: ...Samnite: ...or the faster brothers on the other coast of the Adriatic sea...
