Outpost Wargame Services, web.archive.org/web/20200730041408/http://www.outpostwargameservices.co.uk/, was a well respected and friendly seller of many very nice 15mm and 28mm miniature ranges. Sadly, the owner Jeff got cancer and passed away. A UK ebay seller, Mr. Footballer, has picked up the 15mm molds and is casting figures! The 28mm figures are in production by another company. Many of these figures were really good-I liked the Byzantines, Tamils and Ghaznavids especially. Medium heft, bigger than Khurasan and smaller than Xyston.
I don't think he quite knew what was involved, maybe just started it as a side hobby. I am in the USA, and he hasn't quite figured out how to change his ebay listings to allow sales to the USA. I don't want to be banned by ebay, or get him banned by exchanging personal information. I'd like to correspond with him, and buy figures of course.
DOES ANYONE KNOW THE SECRET IDENTITY OF MR. FOOTBALLER?
