Back in the long distant past my school unadvisedly decided to try and teach me Latin and failed dismally until they decided to chuck Cicero and Caesar into the mix and call it “Classical Civilisation” History. Anyway my Latin teacher was the spitting image of John Cleese’s Centurion and that Life of Brian exchange is not a satire - it is a documentary!
