Does anyone have an unit that always seems to win or is blessed with divine favour? I have a nit of Velites that have taken out at least a half dozen Elephants and various light troops. I know it doesn't seem rational ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

My Early Polish king and general seems to loose his head in every battle...

Somehow I'm not surprised that folks are quicker to call out their "cursed" units than their "blessed" ones! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) (Why the "complaint phase" is an important part of every wargame even if it never gets written down in the rules...)

John Saunders’ Galatian Scythed Chariot was “blessed” when it single-handedly defeated my Polibian Romans 4-3 in a tournament once!
Otherwise my Alexandrian Knight General (Alexander) seems to die with alarming regularity. Could be a cursed element?
….other than that I think my poor dice more than mitigate any blessings an individual element may receive!

The Complaint Phase - I like that!

After a very lucky victory in the early days of WRG7th a common monologue during deployment of my Pre Feudal Scots army
"These are my Highland Scouts (IrrB LI JLS Sh). Did I ever tell you about the time the beat an entire Han Chinese army single handed ...."
(with the groans of my compatriots in the background)
Cheers
