Great. Good to hear, from all reports, I should have no trouble getting Feudal Castings Axumites and Kushites. I once had a Feudal Castings Axumite army, but I was maybe a bit too generous of a tourney host at an ENFILADE years ago when I offered up the painted army (elements of it shown below) as a prize. Pleased to know I can replace it. ![](https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/dd69/Paul_A_Hannah/1182417297b.jpg)

A year ago 15mm orders completely dried up. People catching up on the lead pile?
I’m happy to report 15mm figure orders have recently increased.
Auximites and Kushites continue to be some of our best sellers from th Feudal Castings line.

I was a bit busy yesterday and it wasn't until this afternoon that I remembered that yesterday marked a year since the last posting on the Legio Heroica website. And today it is two years. I still check from time to time, but more out of habit than in any real hope.

...some manufacturers are disappearing but others are coming up with good offers. A new army from another manufacturer could be a good opportunity...

Outpost Wargames Services figures are available, at least temporarily on ebay.co.uk. The molds were purchased by a nice fellow and he started casting the figures. But, this is his first time casting. He casts, lists the figures on ebay.co.uk. His seller name is Mrfootballer. I have posted a catalog list on several FB groups. You can also still access the old website using the 'wayback archive,' but orders go through ebay. If you order then you can also correspond and perhaps arrange for more casting as needed. These molds wear out, they are expendable. So if you wanted some of the OWS Crusader ranges including Komennan Byzantine, Arab and Ghaznavid I would try to get them now. Their Tamikl Indians were also very good. He has just enabled the ship to USA function. Postage and exchange rates are not good right now, but DBA armies are small. Sort of like a final tour for this miniatures range!

Might be easier to do a combined order to Germany and then send on the individual components internally with Deutsche Post!

If you are really old you remember a time when Airfix ACW and Red indians were converted into ancients. A time when Airfix Romans and Ancient British were the only available figures, apart from flats, and the Airfix magazine did a loveley set of articles on conversions. So much has gone, but a lot has been added. The people from the late 60s are dying off, or no longer able to carry on, they will be missed. David Constable Yea I heard about that. Well I came to the hobby recently (not counting some on and off empisodes in 2018) and funny enough for me old-school means also soft plastic kits but by Italeri or Zvezda. And as I read about how it was back in the 70's and 80's I really miss that the wargaming sphere lost that "Do it Yourself" attitude. I heard people who say they cannot be bothered with games that don't have a dedicated figure line, because they do not want to look for minis. And I'm the opposite - I could not play a game with dedicated models as for me the fun is about making that army your own- I want to choose the minis, I want to choose the paintjob, I want to choose or make the terrain. And after that I can see what my friends choosen for their army and went about building theirs. It's far more rewarding than picking up a box set from the shelve.

I'm on the same page there. Of course, I did get started back in the '80's. I've had a lot of fun just getting the lay of the land as far as what is now available for 15mm figures. I've also pretty much universally not bought the pre-packed army bundles and pieced orders together myself--not to say that I won't get a few here and there.
