Side A has two cavalry elements - A1 and A2 - with A2 in column behind A1. Side B has two cavalry elements - B3 and B4 - with B3 in front to front contact with A1 and B4's front in legal contact with a side of A1 and in contact with part of a side of A2. What is the outcome on A2
- if A1 is destroyed in combat
- or if A1 is recoiled in combat.
If A2 is not destroyed what does A2 do at the end of the combat phase? (I seem to remember that A2 isn't destroyed in DBMM but I'll have to look up what does happen to A2.)

A2 also destroyed due to ‘being in a column where the front element is destroyed’ phrase and having enemy edge in contact. Think it’s in the recoils section….
