The legion on the march brought back memories of an early version of WRG Ancient rules allowing forces to march on the board; the distance between commands was determined by a die cast.
Anyone remember which version?

Having worked in Italy many times over the years, Roman organisation isn't something that appears to have been passed down.

There used to be a lovely diorama in Lincoln Museum of a Roman army on the march, using 25mm figures (if memory is correct) and a scale of 1 figure to 1 Roman soldier to reproduce the ten cohorts of a Roman Legion(Marian?). CarlL

Anyone remember which version? Sorry I do not know the version, I am sure it was not version 1 to 5, and probably not 6. Best guess 7, unless a U.S.A. version? David Constable
