We will be running a 15mm HoTT competition at Recon (3rd December, Pudsey, Leeds) again this year. Entry fee £5, which includes entry to the show, please aim to arrive for 9:30 for a 10:00 start. We normally play 4 games with a break at lunch so you can look round the show. While you can just turn up, it's helpful if you could let me know you're intending to come - Tim.kohler17@outlook.com

Tim now plans to run 5 rounds but with a slightly shorter lunch break, so more playing time for your money!

What are you implying Sheffmark? ( hic!). 🍺 And Baldie, I can’t remember if you have met my Daleks… …probably due to my comment above…

Needless to say so excited am I that I am in the car park. Hour and half before registration.
After taking a wall down at the Baldie stronghold over the last few days I am glad not to be covered in brick dust for a day.

Fantastic tourney with a great bunch of peeps, the additional benefit of being placed next go the bring and buy was great. Cheers to Tim as ever for running it and managing to get yo play which was good to see. My Orcs who are not a fantasy army, they are from our own universe but the 41st millennium, managed 2 glorious wins and 3 crushing defeats which I am delighted with Game 1 was vs Jim's undead consisting of heroes, hordes, riders with sneakers and lurkers ready to pounce. I got to defend and put down 2 woods, 2 broken ground and some ruins which were impassable terrain I got a 6-0 win by taking out some lurkers who had pounced on my beasts and the enemy general. Jim's dice were truly shocking Game 2 was against James's knights of Camelot, lots of knights with shooter support and a magician. James placed terrain and as i am a nice lad i reminded him my flyers preferred scrub to woods. As James is also a nice lad he only placed 2 woods and still put some scrub down. Hope to see you on the DBA scene soon. More by luck than judgement I got the pounce on Arthur with some shooters and my general behemoth flanking. As i had took out a hero type earlier it was another victory this time 6-2 Game 3 and my tourney came crashing down round my ears. Andrew's elves, a mix of heroic types, riders and beasts. Elves placed some woods, some scrub and a hill My beasts and shooters won a skirmish in the woods and all was well until the elves ran over the rest of my army for a 12-6 loss Game 4 after lunch of a healthy pork pie and peas was against Phil's Mordor Orcs who were very keen to show they were Da Best Boys. I got the terrain with 3 scrub and more impassible. 3 heros, and other types that were not needed faced me Rolling 1 for pips several times my two flyers were hunted down by heroes, my magician was popped and my general was recoiled into another behemoth leading to a 14-0 thrashing Game 5 not happy with beating me once the Johnsons this time in the shape of Matk decided he also wanted a piece. I placed my usual choice of terrain and called a Waggh. Mark's WW1 blackadder force of hero, paladin, knights, blades, warband and MMG shooters look great. The hero took out my flyers and combination of blades shooters and warband killed my general for an 8-0 loss. I was so proud when I enscorcelled the enemy general despite him being protected by a palladin. Proud that is until I remembered he was not a hero and only recoiled him Great day out Some of the facts above may be errors but close enough .
