Is there a simple to get DBA 3.0 Quick Reference Sheet out there.
I tried Boardgame Geek wouldnt except my login and wasted alot of time trying. Other links from old fanaticus sites fail.
Can anyone help please?

I printed it off (double-sided), had it laminated and it was all I used when I played in the competition at Britcon last month.

That SoA QRS looks fabulous and is a fine resource, but there's a small but significant error at the bottom of Page-1. In the Outcome Moves section, it says that Bows pursue. They don't, but Warbands do. (Page-12) Simply cross out "Bw" and insert "Wb".

Thanks for the links. I have been trying to keep all the rules in my head flipping through rulebook and the reference sheet is very helpful. Good to know others that know the game well have looked at it too for mistakes.

Hello there mates. I don't go to the internet much these days for wargaming. But I have made an account just to log in to this thread and say Wow! The SoA DBA3 REF SHEET has made it possible for me to get playing, fast. I have a friend coming over tomorrow to play Belisarius' invasion of Italy, and it is the DBA3 Ref Sheet which gives me the confidence to do it. It's great. Best regards, Richard Moriarty

Just a small note about the Society of Ancients Quick Reference Sheet. Not counting the Bw–Wb pursuit error pointed out by paulhannah (which has already been corrected in the version that can be found in the link below), it does still contain three relatively trivial errors. FLANK SUPPORTThe SoA QRS says “... & both in GG”. This is incorrect. Page 11 paragraph 1 of the rules states that rear support needs all elements to be in good going, but page 11 paragraph 2 says that flank support just needs the element in close combat to be in good going, not both elements. Therefore it is entirely possible for a solid blade or spear in rough or bad going to give flank support to solid bows or spears, providing that those receiving the flank support are themselves entirely in good going. DISTANCE COMBATThe SoA QRS says “Shooting – Not through a hill’s crest, city or fort, or a 1/2 BW depth of difficult hills, woods, oasis, dunes, hamlet or edifice, or shooting at or from gully.” This could give the impression that ½ a BW of gully prevents shooting. It would be clearer if it said:- “Shooting – Not through a hill’s crest, city or fort, or shooting at or from gully, or a 1/2 BW depth of difficult hills, woods, oasis, dunes, hamlet or edifice.” MOVEMENT“Mounted Infantry moves 3 in good going and 1 in rough or bad going.” Not quite true...Mtd-Inf moves as foot in rough or bad going, so Mtd-4Bw would move 1, but Mtd-3Bw moves as fast bows, i.e. 3 base widths in rough/bad going (see page 3 paragraph 3). Sorry to be so pedantic, but it’s better to have the discussions here on Fanaticus rather than in the middle of a battle, especially a tournament battle. Some potentially useful player aids can be found here, including the latest FAQ and the Quick Reference Sheets from the Society of Ancients:- fanaticus-dba.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Reference_sheets_and_epitomes
