SCIELDWEALL
An easy but intense DBA variant
I frankly admit I didn't invent this game variant at all, but I simply had gotten some game rules wrong in the beginning when I just had started my career as DBA general.
But then I found that my small mistake made the movements of the units not only more intricate, but it made the pushing and shoving in and before the shield wall more convincing and the flow of battle even more intense, especially with lighter units.
So I dare to offer my mistake (and one simple idea) to all those of the fanaticus community who like to experiment every now and then.
SCIELDWEALL Variant Game Rules
All rules of DBA 3.0 apply as usual save those concerning outcome moves distance.
Main rule: ALL elements that recoil or pursue move always exactly their respective base length.
Optional rule: When determining CC outcome the active player once per game may actively recoil or flee one of his elements even if it performed better. The respective enemy element must cancel its original outcome move and is obliged to pursue, but only if it normally does pursue at all.
