Thanks a lot Paul, I will be really interested in seeing pictures when you get them. On the wooden carts there's a sprue like thing connecting all the carts together, this is to trick shapeways into thinking it is one item, this makes it 3x cheaper too. Which is a good thing to remember about shapeways.
If you ever do start a 3 kingdoms army, let me know if you need anything particular for it. The models also could work for a lot of Chinese time periods.
I'm currently trying to work on a Chinese rammed earth siege mound model, but I think tinkercad is tired of me, so I might be switching to making some 3 kingdoms historical battles soon. Anyways, thanks again, I'm looking forward to pictures.

I ordered the siege tower too, and Shapeways gave me an error message for thin walls, so I fixed that, but they still don't like it. I'm getting 4 printed at print a thing. Did you get an error on your siege tower as well? |

Rats. Shapeways pulled the plug on my order of your Wooden Carts and Chinese Gates as well. They were unable to print them for some reason.

Okay I'll see what I can do, I wish shapeways would communicate with me better. Hopefully you got your money back. Btw can you remember what material you selected on the wooden carts? Sorry about the trouble, I think I have an idea(?) what shapeways might have not liked from dealing with the siege tower, but I wouldn't suggest you keep trying. I don't want to see anyone lose any money. Sorry again, will be taking those off that shapeways store |

Just got my siege towers in from Print a Thing, which is becoming a much preferred way to print when comparing them to Shapeways, these were $1.39 a piece. Shapeways wants $7-8 for each. The STL file should still be up for anyone that wants to try through printathing.com, I'll leave the 3d print settings I used below as well. Technology: Fused Filament Fabrication Infill: 100% Layer Thickness: >0.2 Material: PLA, Opaque, White   |
