Yes it's back!
The Barn HOTT Tournament will be taking place on Sunday May 8th.
40mm frontage, no theme.
Doors open 10.00am and first game starts 10.30. Tournament to finish 4.30(ish)
£10 fee - includes a HOTT lunch - payable on day.
Full details on website (www.bristolwargaming.co.uk), and please email me if you're coming, and state if you would prefer carnivore or herbivore lunch option

I’m interested Nick…although Bristol is a loooong way from Nottingham. 140 miles, about 3 hours, and petrol will soon be £2 a litre! (Oh well, I’ll just have to lay off the wicked strength cider for a few days…  )Also, I think this is being advertised in the wrong place. Could you send a private message to Cromwell to move it to the Tournaments Section? It’s just that I have a few things to post in the HoTT section (such as the new HoTT FAQ), and I would hate to end up burying your announcement. |

Well after an exhaustive analysis (actually chucking some chicken bones and kidding myself I can see a pattern) I have decided on an army. No spoilers but those of you who may face it, prepare to shake.............with laughter probably.

Just so it looks like I am prepared - are we using 1 inch = 100 paces as is traditional, or one BW as mooted as a possibility in the latest edition of the rules?
And Martin - Poseidon??? Trident surely......................

Trident surely...................... As far as I know, it’s the original 1” = 100pp, as used in all tournaments at Bristol that I have attended. It takes some getting used to, after BWs, but my plan is to take only my ‘old’ 1” defined measuring stixx. Nick Pope has said nothing to the contrary. Trident—- big mushroom cloud, deployed as a ‘god’ ?? 😳 |
