Here’s an odd question for the group:
If you could build a DBA army from scratch, what elements would you take, and why would you choose that particular combination?

I don't think it is an odd question at all.
I have not pulled the trigger yet, but I have often wanted to just paint up a fictitious Biblical era army, say call it the "Lost Kingdom" or something, but the desire for me has more to do with selecting figures than selecting specific elements.
I have just seen so many figures that I like that are not a good fit for the RAW armies, that I am like "damn, just make an army up and have fun with it"
That being said, I know I would have at least 2xPs, 1x7Hd, and at least 1 ranged weapon.

I wouldn't care for the 8Lb or 8Cb in DBA 3.0 They look cool, but you have to spend too much time playing "keep away" with them as they are susceptible to being a costly loss to other bow fire/artillery. |

How about an army consisting of 8 Hordes and 4 Scythed Chariots? Since the loss of these doesn’t count, this army can never be defeated! The best the enemy can do is get 2 losses for destroying their camp and killing their general...but you need them to have 4 losses to defeat them...  |

Although I also am from the blue half of the city it’s still a fact that they (SUFC) are in a higher division ☹️ And it’s not as if the Owls are likely to head “back up” through the dizzy heights of promotion. Enjoy football chit-chat anyway, what can we say about DBA wargaming…? |
