You do realise many of us reading this may actually be odd enough to prefer to model footprints, shadows, faces at windows or shapes in the tent rather than ever get round to basing up one more stand. A pair of dainty toes protruding out under a haystack might work as an inducement for an enemy element to not leave the camp at all. My Timurid Camp may be in that category as the camp followers defending the tower of skulls has two semi-clad female captives held by the hair by one of two captors.

It has always amazed me that such a short set of rules by an author famed for brevity, have such unnecessarily complex rules for BUAs and completely unnecessary rules for the make up of camps. Temporary/Permanent structures? Really? Much like Shooter/Warband in HOTT, I'd love the FAQ to take the leap of faith and come out with recommendations that would almost certainly be embraced by the community similar to: - Camps are always defended either by a troop element present or by camp followers, whether modelled or not. - Sallying Camp followers must be on a separate element base. That's it. Nothing required about how the player models their camp. I'm certain this is how the vast majority play the game. Yes, it is unusual for NKE to bring a pyramid when invading Medieval France, but no more so than them being there in the first place!
Cheers
