Hi Folks! Back again with another of my video journals of my solo wargames. As before, I thought I would upload some of them to a YouTube channel for others to see. I recently uploaded 'DBA 3.0 Alexander v Porus' here… www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLaVEfld0wZfyVnDzD5iCpNC0d-zruLFQn“A solo game of De Bellis Antiquitatis v 3.0. There are sure to be some mistakes made in my implementation of the rules - please let me know in the comments if you find anything and mention the time at which the mistake occurred, so that I can make notes here so folks will get the most out of the video. Enjoy!” I am no expert – just sharing the fun I had playing the battle. I hope you enjoy it. Cheers! - Jeff

Jeff,
Good video report. I enjoyed the rotation of view from Macedonian to Indian lines.
Just a minor point; in the final combat, Macedonian pikes destroy their opponent. Pursuing, line 4, first paragraph: “Otherwise an element whose close combat opponents recoil, flee or are destroyed (and all elements in column behind such an element) must immediately pursue,…”

I have added that detail to the description on YouTube so as not to mislead any potential players - I want these journals to be helpful if they can be.

jeffpreston What's the reason for having 13 elements aside ? Hi lesp1964: It was what I had handy at the time and I like to get them into battle if they are available - as long as they don't skew the odds in favour of one side or crowd the battlefield excessively.
